A number of artists and companies that know and love Katie (known for her Tuesday Tutorials on the Clear Dollar Stamps Blog) have banded together to help Katie and her family in this season of need, when I heard of this I wanted to do what I could to help in anyway that I could, I hope that you will too....please read on: .............................................. Jak Heath is a crafting friend to Katie and has organized this special digi benefit to help raise money for Katie's Treatment and to give her lovely boys a treat too.


A little about Katie: Katie Emmerson Renz is married to Kevin with 3 beautiful boys, the twins Nate and Will, aged 5, and Hunter aged 10, had some news just before Christmas that has rocked their world as they know it. Katie has been diagnosed with stage 4 Stomach Cancer and is currently undergoing her only option which is Chemotherapy.

Katie is a fellow crafter and is loved within the crafting community. I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone once again that applied for the Craft Us Crazy Design Team! If you didn't receive an email please don't be discouraged and I welcome you to reapply during the next term, which will be in May 2011. I wish I could have EVERYONE on the design team and believe me I tried..lol It's so hard to choose from such extraordinary work. If you noticed, I did say EVERYONE at Craft Us Crazy!! That means we officially have a Design Team!! The emails have been sent to those that were chosen, and let me tell you, it was a TOUGH and AGONIZING time. There were soooooo many wonderful applicants and beautiful work. I will be posting the team in the next few days, once I hear from everyone and that they're still interested! =o) So be on the watch for that, but...... we do have some more wonderful news....we have a winner for the $15 Gift Certificate for helping to spread the word about our new Challenge blog!!!!!
